2008 car show schedule will include judging on Saturday ONLY. Fun Field will be presented both days, remember pre-registration guarantees you a goodie bag!
Chairs and pop-ups are permitted, coolers ok but ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS.
Sunday will have 'Top Ten' peer and spectator voting presented by Fast Times Speed Shop.
Judged vehicles will expected to be parked in class by 9:30am Saturday and remain until 3:30pm.
Best of Show candidates MUST AGREE to display on Sunday from 9am to 2pm.
Judged car show ceremony will be in two sections on Sunday.
11:00am will be Judged Awards from Saturday (except Best of Show.)
1:30 Sunday Top Ten Presented by Fast Times Speed Shop, Magazine Editors Choice and Celebrity Trophy, Best of Show and the the charity car will be raffled. *
JUDGED CAR SHOW PARTICIPANTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO PRE-REGISTER.
We enjoy our specialized award plaques with the car show art and your class printed on them and would like to continue this process. However, these must be prepared at least three weeks before the event, so pre-register your vehicles so your class plaques can be prepared. PRE-REISTRATION CLOSES MONDAY MAY 5, 2008, postmark on that day ok. Classes with zero pre-registered vehicles will not have plaques!!!!!
Pre-registration will also guarantee a goodie bag.
Stock - Vehicles that are restored or unrestored to original specifications. Vehicles in this class should have features only available in the model year from the factory. Safety modifications such as electrical wire upgrades or brakes will not loose points in this class.
Clone cars are welcome in this class, but remember the changes from matching numbers of your vehicle should only be within the model year and available on a factory car. In close competition for this class cars matching their build sheets will prevail.
Restified - The classic second day car. Vehicles in this class should keep their factory appearance but may have paint, wheels, tires, dash, exhaust or engine upgrades. Maximum 6 modifications or upgrades that alter factory original components. Clone cars may choose to compete in this class.
Modified - Anything goes in this class, vehicle must be based on Mopar body and engine. Judging will view the details of the car and the overall execution. You may provide a list of modifications for the judges.
Fun Field - For those entries who do not wish to be judged. Open parking so you may park different type vehicles together.
Pre-Registration Entry Fees:
Fun Field Weekend $45.00 (two weekend passes)
Fun Field One Day (available at gate only, no passenger included) $35
Judged Show $60.00 (two weekend passes) $50 at Gate without passenger
Fun Field with Trophy Race (One weeknd pass with tech card)
$50
AGAIN PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOUR PASSENGER IS NOT INCLUDED AT THE GATE,
SO PRE-REGISTER FOR A $35 SAVINGS!!!!!
For those that may have spoken to us we were talking with Boyd Coddington about a special car show trophy. We share our deepest sympathies with the family of Mr. Coddington.
We have requested permission for a Boyd Coddington Memorial Award, we await the decision from the Coddington family to present this award.
